Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what Angie (the “Service,” operated by Chijindu Isiofia, doing business as Isiofia) collects, how it is used, and your choices. By using Angie you agree to this Policy.

1 · What we collect

Account information. When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and Google account identifier. We store your access status, your plan, and whether you are an administrator.
What you research. The tickers and assumptions you screen and the results, so your history is there when you come back, along with your saved screen groups and presets.
What you save. Your watchlists and the names in them, including the price at the moment you added each one so the list can keep score, plus your strategies and their parameters.
Your paper trading. Every simulated book, its cash, positions, orders, full trade history, daily marks, your notes, and any drawings you leave on a chart. None of this is real money and none of it reaches a broker.
Your feed. Which sources you have muted, which stories you saved, which you have already seen, and when you acknowledged the disclosure notice.
Usage counters. How many valuations you have run, so plan limits can be enforced, and a log of screening errors so we can fix what broke.
Technical data. Standard logs from our hosting providers, such as request times, IP addresses and errors.

We do not collect payment card details. We never ask for brokerage credentials, and Angie is not connected to any brokerage account.

2 · How we use it

To operate the Service: to authenticate you, to decide whether your account has access, to run and store your research, to keep your watchlists and paper books, to enforce plan limits, and to keep Angie secure and working. We may email you about your account, such as when access is granted. We do not use your data for advertising and we do not profile you for it.

3 · Where your data goes

Your data is stored in our database with row-level security, so your rows are readable only by you. These are the providers that process data on our behalf, and they process it only to deliver the Service.

Supabase. Database and authentication. Holds everything in section 1.
Vercel. Hosts the website and its server functions, and keeps request logs.
Google. Sign-in. We receive your profile from Google. Google does not receive your Angie activity.
Fly.io. Runs the valuation and market data service behind Angie.
Alpaca. Market prices, quotes and charts. It receives the tickers being looked at, never who is looking.
Anthropic and Groq. Write the plain-language company summaries. They receive public company facts, never your personal data and never your research.
Resend. Sends account email. It receives your email address.

Angie also reads data that involves no personal information at all: company financials and prices from third-party market data aggregators, economic series from the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, and headlines from public news feeds. Those providers receive the ticker symbols Angie looks up. They never receive who is looking, or anything about you.

4 · What we don't do

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for advertising. We do not send it to anyone outside the providers named above, except where the law requires it. We do not use your research or your paper trading to train a model.

5 · Deleting your account

You can delete your account yourself, inside Angie. Open the Account menu and choose Delete account. You will be asked to type your email address, because it cannot be undone.

Deleting removes everything in section 1: your sign-in, your access record, your watchlists, every paper book with its orders, trades, marks and notes, your strategies, screen groups and presets, your screen and error history, your saved and seen news, and your feed settings. Nothing is archived and we cannot restore it. Backups are overwritten on their normal cycle, within thirty days.

You may sign up again afterwards with the same address, but you would start with an empty account and rejoin the waitlist.

6 · Security and retention

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, but no system is perfectly secure. We keep your data for as long as your account exists. Operational logs from our hosting providers are kept on their own short schedules. Aggregated market data that never identified you, such as the valuation board, is unaffected by deleting your account, because it was never yours.

7 · Changes

We may update this Policy. The date at the top always says when it last changed. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Policy.
