Angie is built on other people’s work. This page reproduces the notices those licences ask for, and lists every dependency with the licence it ships under.

caniuse-lite is licensed CC BY 4.0 and its browser-support data is used unmodified at build time.

The MPL-2.0 and LGPL-3.0 components above are used unmodified. The MPL components (lightningcss, certifi) run at build time and on our servers. The LGPL components (psycopg, psycopg-binary, and the platform sharp binary) run on our servers and in the build. Source for each is available from its upstream project at the version listed. Whether any of this is “conveyed” within the meaning of those licences under a future app distribution is a question we have flagged for counsel rather than answered here.

4 · Typefaces

Angie sets text in Newsreader and IBM Plex Mono, both under the SIL Open Font License 1.1.

Copyright © 2017 IBM Corp. with Reserved Font Name "Plex"
Copyright 2020 The Newsreader Project Authors

The full licence text accompanies the font files in the repository. The italic Newsreader face is the static instance Google’s font API serves rather than the variable original, which the licence permits.

6 · What this list does and does not cover

Generated on 2026-10-17. The JavaScript list is the full installed tree, plus the Linux builds of the platform-specific binaries (sharp and lightningcss) that our production build installs. The Python list is the exact set of versions installed on the production valuation server.

A desktop build on another operating system pulls a different variant of the platform binaries. The licences are the same. Only the package names differ.

2 packages state no licence in their metadata. The licence below was read from the licence file itself rather than inferred:

peewee 4.5.3 : MIT. No License field, no License-Expression and no classifier in METADATA. licenses/LICENSE is MIT text, Copyright (c) 2010 Charles Leifer. Reaches us through yfinance and leaves with it.

uvloop 0.23.0 : MIT OR Apache-2.0. Not installable on Windows. LICENSE-MIT and LICENSE-APACHE in the upstream repository (MagicStack/uvloop).

If you believe something here is wrong or missing, tell us and we will correct it.
